Condenser microphones pick more natural and real sound. In terms of audio pick up, condenser microphones are far better than a dynamic microphone. However, a huge problem with condenser microphone is that it picks too much ambient noise.

Even if you edit and clean up a recorded audio track, you could still hear a vehicle horn, birds sound, and other ambient noises through a quality earphone.

Removing such slight noise in a recorded track is easier, won’t distort frequency of the primary audio. Thus, condenser microphones are the best solution if you can control ambient noise around you. If you cannot control, then order a dynamic microphone.

In the recording studio, a condenser microphone is used since ambient noise can be controlled. For live performance, however, a dynamic microphone is used since it picks up less audience noise and more audio from the singer.
