The rumour market for upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is really hot at this time. All Tech pundits believe that the Note 2 will set a new standard in specifications balance, performance, trendy features and next gen technology.
If we are allowed to appreciate the current buzz, the Note 2 will have a price tag of 11000 rupees. Also, there has been growing believe because of the grand packaging of the Note 2, all other existing smartphone between price range of 10000 to 17000 rupees will be considered outdated. The new market reality is knocking door for all existing players.
Until now many images have been leaked, which suggests that this phone will come with a metallic frame and an attractive design.
Before we jump to discuss possible specifications of the Redmi Note 2, I would like to make disclaimer about the specification input. None of the information, which is listed here has been backed by the parent brand officially. These all are rumour. And, the actual specifications of the Redmi Note 2 might be different after the official launch.
Although I do not trust this rumour, but it has been backed up by some of popular websites. The Note 2 might feature Android Kitkat 4.4.4. Why I doubt the rumour because the latest Android version is Lollipop 5.0.2, then why the Xiaomi will earn one mark less by offering outdated operating system.
Snapdragon has won contract for this. It is quite obvious because Snapdragon processors are guaranteed for lag free smooth performance. According to the latest leaks, Snapdragon will offer eight cores processor, which means either it will be two processors wherein each comes with four prongs or one dedicated Octa core processor. In my opinion, combination of two processors wherein each has a four prong to deal with multitasking is going to be more likely scenario.
2 GB RAM is in demand and we do have any disbelieve on this. This is sure that the Note 2 will have 2 GB RAM. One GB RAM is out of fashion now, 3 GB RAM means MRP will go up therefore 2 GB RAM is seal and signed.
Rumor is, on-board storage will be 16 GB. I cannot bet for this because there is amble possibility that 8 GB ROM and 64 GB expandable memory. Although we can trust the fact, a 16 GB memory will be part of the Redmi Note 2 bundle.
This phablet will feature a crispy 5.5 inch full HD display with a high pixel density of 401 ppi. Honestly speaking, we could not gather much data on this.
There might be a 13 MP camera on the back with LED flash and another 5 MP Selfie camera on the front. We have credible input that Sony image sensor will boost the performance of both cameras.
The rumors that are floating around are suggesting that this phone will be powered by a massive 3550 mAh battery, which will result in more than a day of power backup against heavy usages.
It is confirmed that the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 will come with 4G, 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and micro USB support. Indian 4G network is unclear and also rumour does not substantiate for or against at gadget new websites. However, whether it will be a dual SIM device or not is still in the dark. We might also witness this phone running on Android 5.0 Lollipop with Xiaomi’s own MIUI.
