Android One device will get fastest upgrade along with Nexus Devices for next two years of the period.

With Android One operating system, there have been three launches from Micromax, Karbonn, and Spice. The XOLO India took more time to join the league and launched XOLO One.

The smartphone is really awesome. I had a great experience with it. Xolo One gets a stunning look by having smooth and polished leather on its back. Having it in your hand is a different experience altogether. Though I admire three earlier launched of Android One smartphones, but XOLO one is new drawing on the Canvas of Android One.

Nokia Lumia 530 Dual SIM Smartphone with Snapdragon Processor

I am a big fan of Windows OS since it is realistic and similar experience advantage across all budget smartphones. In the recent time, Microsoft has become very aggressive with the pricing of its devices. While Google is targeting $100 market with Android One, Windows OS is promising to bring better experience with 50 to 60 Dollar budget smartphones.

Nokia Lumia 530 Dual SIM Specifications and Review

In my view, the Lumia 530 Dual SIM is a little star in the budget category. Also, it is a fastest selling low-budget smartphone in India. With the current selling price of 5376 rupees, Microsoft is offering great windows experience with quality hardware.

With the long lasting power of 1430 mAh Nokia battery, the device is qualified with 4 inches display and Snapdragon processor. Windows Operating system happens to be hardware friendly so it consumes fewer resources and battery power. The Lumia 530 is a dual SIM smartphone with latest connectivity options and 1.2 GHz Quad Core processor of Snapdragon 200. It gives a miss to the front facing camera and has 5-MP primary camera to record 480P videos and images.

Users are benefited with Microsoft software library which comes almost free with the device. With extremely loud speaker and beautiful polycarbonate shell design, it is surely recommended to reliable hardware seeker in India.

The Nokia Lumia 530 has all A star features. So, we decided to highlight a few weakness of this gadget. In my view, the rear camera with just 480P video recording and missing front facing camera is a concern. Don’t worry about 512 MB RAM as Windows doesn’t require heavy hardware resources for multimedia operation.

Light in Weight Asus Zenfone 4 with Intel Atom Processor

The year of 2014 was an era of transformation in the smartphone category. The first time Google introduced Android One to set the standard in the low-budget category and Microsoft replied with the offer of better experience of Windows OS in less than 5000 rupees budget phone. Besides this, there was some more activity from the top noted brand such as Asus as it introduced the Zenfone 4 to counter Moto E and Xiaomi Redmi 1S success.

The Zenfone 4 is powered by Intel Atom processor with Dual core and clock speed of 1.2 GHz. 4 inches Display has 233 PPI and supported by PowerVR SGX GPU. There is 1GB RAM and 8 GB hosted memory and memory expansion option up to 64 GB. The main surprise is listed in 5 MP primary camera, which able to secure HD videos with 1080P resolution. Asus Zenfone 4 Review and Price in India

Wow! Just 115-gram gross weight and 6.9 mm thickness. The Asus Zenfone 4 is one of the slimmest smartphones in the low-budget category. The Zenfone 4 makes us believe that big thing comes in a small packet. During my one week of usages of it, I had really great experience. A 5500 rupees device fulfills your communication need and does fabulous multimedia entertainment also camera shooting. Certainly, the Zenfone 4 is the best smartphone available on regular Android platform (Not Android One).

A complete smartphone with the experience of Windows OS, Snapdragon Processor, 1 GB RAM and 1950 mAh battery is available only at 5000 rupees price with free delivery at your doorstep. Though I always hesitate to invest money in low-budget smartphone purchase, but while I saw the Lava Iris Win1 listing at Lava’s official website, I couldn’t resist in placing a purchase order at Flipkart. I love this phone. This is a perception killer.

We are known for disrespecting homemade success. Therefore, I am ready to bet – Samsung cannot launch a smartphone as cool as Lava's entry phone on the window platform at an affordable price of just 5000 rupees.

Lava is the parent company of XOLO India and third largest Indian smartphone brand in India. The Iris Win 1 officially introduced in the month of December 2014 with a price tag of 4999 rupees. As per the latest information, the device is exclusively available only at Flipkart.

With the current purchase of the Lava Win 1, the buyer gets free flip cover and screen guard. Lava has left no stone unturned to make the model a grand success. However, I am very clear we Indian still going to line up behind a Chinese brand.

  • Display with good clarity and natural brightness
  • Quite responsive touch
  • Unbelievable processing speed
  • Long lasting battery
  • Excellent camera performance in daylight and low-light
  • Good calling audio

Concerns:- So far, almost none. Now I can’t expect the smartphone perform like HTC M8 or LG G3 or Sony Xperia Z3. Be logical. At the price of 4999/- – A worthy buy. Go for it.

Celkon Win 400 Smartphone with Windows Blue Operating System

The Indian Smartphone brand Celkon has become is one of the fasted growing smartphone brand in the last couple of years. Celkon had moderate success with Android devices. Now it is back with the bang, not with an Android device rather a Windows-powered device, called as Win 400. The Celkon India had introduced the smartphone in November 2014.

Celkon Win 400 Review and Specifications

Similar to Lava Win 1, it also lists Snapdragon 200 processor and 4 Inches display with 480 × 800 resolution. For graphic handling, it has Adreno 302 GPU supported by 512 MB RAM and 4 GB onboard memory.

The Celkon Win 400 equipped with 1.3 MP front facing, higher in the current list of top smartphones under 5500 rupees budget. Moreover, we find 5 MP primary camera and 1500 mAh battery with the list of latest communication mediums.

Overall this is a good smartphone under 4500 rupees budget. At the given selling price, we cannot expect more than this. The brand Microsoft has updated that the minimum support required by Windows 10 update is 512 MB RAM and Dual Core process. So, along with the Celkon 400, other windows smartphones are going to be updated with the release of Windows 10. Considering the promise of OS update and good specifications at the selling price of 4500 rupees, the Celkon Win 400 is considerable Choice. However, I would urge to spend just 500/- more and place an order for the Lava Iris Win 1, which comes with free flip cover and Screen guard.

  1. I am planning to buy Moto E, is it good phone ? I am looking for phone which has long lasting battery and dual sim. Please help me in buying a good android phone.

    1. The Moto E is an outdated smartphone now. If your budget is close to 4000 to 5000 rupees, my choices would be inFocus M2. This is a good smartphone with all decent features. If you like the Windows platform, then Lava Iris Win1 and Lumia 435 is an ultimate choice. Coming back to the inFocus M2, at a price of 5000 rupees, you can get a 1GB RAM, quad core processor, 2010 mAh battery, 8MP Primary and 8MP front facing camera. Above all, OTG support is present. In my opinion, this is a the best value for money. Besides, the inFocus is an American brand with greater interest in Indian market.
