This is the first time in the history of Google, India becomes the launch of its much awaited product. Google’s Android One operating system has started a journey with India launch and the same will continue in other developing nations in the coming days. The Google has announced – total nine smartphones will be available in the range of five thousand to seven thousand rupee budget in India, before Diwali Festival. Android one’s India launch was celebrated by the release of three smartphones from Micromax, Karbonn and Spice. And, the XOLO and the LAVA are soon going to join the Android One club with its Android One smartphones.
The Google’s Android one solution is aimed to address issues pertaining to the android based budget smartphones. The variant of Android Kitkat has been designed to bring an experience of a real smartphone in constrained hardware environment.
Budget mobile phones are exposed to Android version parity and incompetent to follow the regular OS upgrade. Two smartphone with similar hardware and price having two different Android version offers odd experience. Google's concerted program is step to organize the budget segment so that benefit of smartphones reaches to millions on an affordable price.
For the Google, it is a win win situation. With Android One, Google gets more online customer the same time it gains control on the lucrative budget smartphone segment.
Google promises to refresh Android One smartphones with regular update and patch release.
Micromax Canvas One A1
The Micromax A1 is available only in black colour. It is powered by Android One operating system, which is also a sub variant of Android Kitkat 4.4.4. The A1 sports a 4.5 inches FWVGA display with resolution of 854×480 pixel. It packs a MediaTek quad core processor cloaked 1.3 GHz speed and a 1GB RAM as well as 1700 mAh battery. The Device battery comes with six days standby on the 2G network along with 6 hours of talk time. User is benefited with approx 2.99 GB storage out of 4GB inbuilt memory on board.
The Canvas one offers a 8 MP primary camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. The primary camera is furnished to record 720P video in 360 degrees photosphere and the 2MP camera sweeten to snap HQ selfie or transmit HD live video during 3G calling.
For connectivity, the smartphone lists two micro SIM cards, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB 2 and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
It is a good smartphone with fair specifications at the current market price.

Spice Dream UNO Mi498
My god! Spice should give a short and easy name for its product. The Spice Android One technical specifications are quite similar to the Micromax Canvas One’s specs. The dual SIM Android One smartphone sports a 4.5 inches IPS LCD display, powered by an MT processor alongside 1 GB RAM and a 1700 mAh battery. We can find a surprising twist in Camera and Sensor. Its 5 MP camera can record FHD (1080P) video, gets better attraction than the Canvas’s 8MP camera with 720P recording. The auto focus primary camera is equipped with LED flash and 5X zoom and features some standard camera tools such as Panorama, Photo Sphere, and Lens Blur.
The Spice Android One lists five sensors including Gyro Sensor which adds three axis motions reading ability in a smartphone. With a Mali 400 MP graphics processor, the Spice One is friendlier to gaming than the Canvas One.
This is a lightweight hardware and with the Surprise of Android One. In market reputation, the Micromax is far ahead, but the Spice’s foray in domestic market with recent launches should be noticed.

Karbonn Sparkle V
If the basic specifications to be believed, the Karbonn Sparkle is a close sibling of the Micromax Canvas One and Spice Android One Dream. The device in measured in a 113 mm length by 66 mm width and 10.4 mm thickness. As it loads just 138g weight, without doubt it is a decent light-weight smartphone.
The smartphone holds similar specifications and design than other two Android One Smartphones. The Karbonn Android One is bundled with a Quad Core MediaTek Processor, 4.5 Inches LCD IPS display, 1GB RAM and 1700 mAh battery.

Twist and Differences
Karbonn Sparkle V and Spice Dream UNO- both are equipped with five sensors, including the Gyro Sensor (for gaming). On the other hand, the Micromax One limits itself with three sensors that don’t include the gyro sensor. Karbonn and Spice devices are somewhat close to gaming, whereas the Micromax’s smartphone depends on the brand reputation.
Smartphones of the Micromax and the Spice are limited to a usual 12 months warranty whereas the Karbonn adds more for users by offers fifteen months warranty.
While the Micromax has joined hand with Amazon, so Spice decided to stick with Flipkart then Karbonn found tuning with Snapdeal. India’s three big smartphone brands with India’s three big online re-retailers – a must watch show in the coming days.
