Multitasking Smartphone Below 22000 Rupees

Smartphone under 22000 in india market

In this piece, we cover top smartphones in India market in the price range of 20000 to 22000 Rupees. Going by the current trend, your budget for a new premium smartphone must be above 20000 Rupees. Actually, 20000 to 30000 Rupees is the price range of those premium smartphones, which are not the flagship phone of their brand.

Notably, 20000 to 22000 Rupees is the first price segment for premium smartphones where you introduced to devices with advanced engineering. Smartphones above the price of 22000 Rupees, going by the current trend, have the same technology which a smartphone from the price range 20000 to 22000 Rupees has but with increased specification. For instance, having 6GB or 8GB RAM, instead of 4GB RAM and instead of a single sensor selfie camera, dual sensor.

However, there is a noticeable difference in the technology used on smartphones above 20000 Rupees and smartphones below 20000 Rupees. Thus, if you need a premium smartphone with advanced engineering but at the lowest possible price, look for the phones, which are on sale in the range of 20000 to 22000 or 25000 Rupees. ► Xiaomi Poco F1 – 6GB RAM Smartphone for Gaming

The Poco F1 comes as an excellent alternative to Xiaomi’s MI Mix 2. Although it doesn’t exactly beat the MI Mix 2, this phone is the pacer for all smartphones under 25000 Rupees. Notably, the manufacturer made sure that the F1 comes in a wide range of colors in order to suit the consumers’ different tastes. These colors include Graphite Black, steel blue, and Rosso Red.

Good Display: Although its screen is a few millimeters shy of most phones in this price range, the Poco F1 does not disappoint in terms of resolution. Its Full HD screen measures 6.18 inch and has a total resolution of 1080 by 2246 pixels. Moreover, since this phone is one of Xiaomi’s flagship products, it features a virtually bezel-less design and has a total screen to body ratio of 82.2%

Optimized for gaming: This 6-inch 4g smartphone is also optimized for gaming. To start with, it has 6GB worth of RAM. Moreover, the phone is integrated with Adreno 630 graphics and has a 2.8GHz + 1.8GHz Kryo 385 Octa-core processor setup. Its internal storage is a standard 64GB card but it supports up to 256 expandable memory. Furthermore, the battery on this phone is a 4000-mAh Li-Polymer battery. On average, this battery can run for up to 30 hours on 2G calls.

Cons: Unlike most of its competitors, it does not have a front dual camera setup.  It only has one 20MP selfie camera, which is good enough, but not the best.

► Artificial Intelligence Powered Huawei Nova 3i with Four AI Camera

The Huawei Nova 3i is a modest version of Huawei’s jewel smartphone, the Nova 3. Though simpler and less powerful than the Nova 3, you can hardly tell the difference between these two large-screen smartphones. If you are looking for a moderately powerful premium smartphone for everyday use, then the 3i will come in as a suitable option. Of course, this smartphone upholds your social class since it’s virtually identical to its domineering version, the Nova 3. There are so many reasons why you would want to settle for the 3i. Here I discuss only the crucial ones, however.

Huawei Nova 3i Smartphone in 22000 Rupees

Superb AI-powered dual cameras: Most of the top smartphones under 30000 Rupees are already fitted with dual primary cameras. For Premium smartphones like the Nova 3, dual cameras are more of a standard feature nowadays. However, Huawei’s 3i pushes this technology to the limit. First, it has dual AI cameras both in the front and rear side of the phone. This means that you can achieve superb Bokeh effects on photos even when using the selfie camera. The front cameras are one 24MP camera + one 2MP camera whereas the rear cameras are a 16MP camera + a second 2MP camera.

Stable Core: Notably, this smartphone has a really stable core for everyday use. The processors are an Octa-core setup with one 2.2-GHz Quad-core A73 processor and one 1.7 GHz Cortex A53 quad-core chip. Together, these processors provide the user with a seamless stable performance.

Cons: Even so, we noted several downsides with the Nova 3i. First, it has 4GB RAM, whereas some of its competitors in this price range have at least 6GB RAM. The battery is also quite disappointing since it charges really slowly (at least 3 hours till full charge).  Also, the cameras won’t take explicit photos in low light conditions. Moreover, the manufacturer did not include an FM radio in this gadget.

► Dual SIM Metal Body Asus Zenfone 3 is an all-rounder device

Asus is an active brand when it comes to selling smartphones. It launches dozens of devices every year but still faces difficulty in selling them. Even after years since Asus launched its first smartphone, it is yet to enter the group of elite manufacturers like Apple, Samsung, and Sony.

This year, the Taiwanese company, Asus, has tried to change its policy. Up until now, it focused on making a device attractive in looks but less useful in real life conditions. It looks like all of that is going to change now.  Just a few weeks back, the brand launched a new range of smartphones and the device to get the most attention was the Zenfone 3. This phone can prove to be a game-changer for Asus specially in the Indian market. As of now, it has been listed on some eCommerce websites with a price tag of 21,999 rupees (there is also a higher end variant with a price tag of 27,999 rupees).

A Redesigned Body: Asus has tried to do with the Zenfone 3 what Samsung did with its Galaxy S6: a complete body redesign.

The Zenfone 3 sports an all-metal body covered with 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and on the back. It gives a great feel in the hand and also provides a firm grip. The outer shell looks premium. Asus has upped its game and tried to offer the best build quality possible in this price segment.

Power and volume keys give good feedback upon pressing and are also easily accessible. The phone is a bit heavy because of the glass and metal but that is a good tradeoff considering the design.

→ Excellent Display Panel

On the front of the Zenfone 3 sits a 5.5-inch super IPS display panel that generates 16 million colors. It has amazing viewing angles and displays every pixel perfectly. The screen quality is on par with some of the costliest smartphones out there. Its full HD panel allows the users to enjoy movies, games, and web browsing at the fullest. The high pixel density of 401 PPI makes the graphics crisp and full of details.

The Asus phone runs on the latest Android Lollipop out of the box. Heavy customization and loaded bloatware degrade the experience. I would like to point though Zenfone 3 does give the option to uninstall or disable some apps.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Ultra in India

Extraordinary Performance: Under the hood, the Zenfone 3 sports Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 625 chipset featuring an octa-core A53 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. There are two variants of the phone available in the market i.e. 3GB RAM/32GB storage for 21,999 rupees and 4GB RAM/64GB storage for 27,999 rupees. Both variants offer great performance and do not get hot no matter how many apps are running in the background.

At first, I was a bit skeptical about the Adreno 506 GPU since it has received bad reviews from the experts. Much to my surprise though this small graphics processor performs really great on the Zenfone 3. In my test, the phone was able to handle even the most intensive games available on the play store.

At the bottom of the phone is a 5-magnet loudspeaker capable of generating superior and high volume sound. It also uses AMP technology to enhance individual audio frequencies.

→ Camera features of this Metal body smartphone

When it comes to photography, the Zenfone 3 performs exceptionally well. I have never seen a mid-range smartphone that can take images as good as this one. Its 16 MP rear camera comes equipped with laser and face-detection autofocus system for capturing super-sharp shots. Image quality turns out to be amazing. It has a shallow depth of field and will allow you to shoot any subject with blurred background. The Asus phone can even record 4K videos at 30 frames per second by its rear camera. Its 4-axis optical stabilization makes everything smooth. The manual settings are available not only for photos but for videos as well.

The front camera is capable of shooting in 8MP and is perfect for selfies. It also comes with some interesting enhancement modes. UI of the camera app is quite intuitive but has some bugs, which Asus can fix by releasing an OTA update.

300 MBPS LTE: While most of the 4G phones out there offer only 150 MPBS connection, the Zenfone 3 sports Cat-7 LTE and is capable of pushing the speeds up to 300 MBPS.

Asus has also featured a USB Type-C port on this phone making it compatible with many upcoming technologies. Hybrid SIM slot is a disappointment but that is manageable as the onboard storage of the phone is enough.

Just below the rear camera, is a fingerprint reader module. It can read prints at all degrees and is fast.

→ Fast Charging smartphone

The Zenfone 3 sports a non-removable 3000 mAh battery. It will give full day usage on moderate usage without any problem. The chipset of this smartphone also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 technology, which gives 2 hours of usage after just 5 minutes of charging.

Asus Zenfone 3 Review and Specifications

  • Durable body
  • Mind blowing design
  • Quick charge support
  • Great cameras
  • Good battery life
  • High speed LTE support
  • Can run heavy games
  • Multiple color variants

  • Hybrid SIM slot
  • Capacitive keys do not light up

Verdict: The Zenfone 3 is a great device. Although its price tag is a bit on the higher side but the features it offers are also of premium flagship category. Metallic body (with glass panels), a performing CPU, more than enough RAM, fast charging and superior camera are among the few things this phone comes packed with.
