6 Smartphones with Good Battery Backup Under 7500

Lava Iris X1 Review and Specifications

We are doing express review of some good smartphones with excellent battery backup at present. These smartphones are priced below 7500 rupees.

Huawei Honor Holly

This is neither Xiaomi Redmi 1S nor Moto E. The solid device is produced by one of know Chinese brand Huawei. Having MRP under 7000 rupees is a one of the key USP in today’s highly competitive market. At the current selling price of 6999/-, it offers quality hardware, latest software and above all, the brand is known to be a tale-communication device maker with large service centre network across India.

With a nice build with glossy finish at back, the smartphone has rounded corner that looks indeed splendid craft of the Huawei. I am still to find any concern to mention here.

Let’s begin with its battery. For me, one full 100% charged battery lasted for almost 41 hours. Should I call it a week performer? I don’t think so. Smartphone is for communication, basic entertainment and some professional task. Its 2000 mAh battery gives good backup against natural usages.

I am not a star rated gamer and play games just for the sake of gadget review. I had played Temple Run2 for the Honor Holly gaming review. I did not experience any lag, frame drop or frozen display. According to Tech Guru India, the Temple Run 2 mobile game is the benchmark for gaming testing. If a device is good with Temple Run 2 then it is certain to do well with all popular games.

Huawei Honor Holly Review and Specifications

The Honor Holly flaunts HD 5 inches display with the base of IPS panel and extra ordinary 294 PPI pixel density. In the display, colour looks deep and natural, viewing angle is wide and small texts are easily readable. Brightness level is really good. In outdoor under direct sunlight, you need some manual reset of brightness level to get clarity on the display.

Most of China made mobile phones is exposed during multitasking by getting heating up. As far as the Honor Holly is concerned, I haven’t experienced such issue. Indeed, the Honor Holly has good performance ability.

It owns 8 MP camera primary camera, which is placed at the rear with a tinny yet powerful LED flash. Also, 2 MP front facing camera is taking good HD selfie to share at various social media network. If I am allowed escape from the theoretical analysis of camera performance, I consider that the smartphone has a decent pair of camera.

Let’s summarize overall features of the device. Good processing, gaming, photography, nice build with complete value for multimedia experience at the price of 7000. Also, the brand has pan India service centre for faster service with ease in the case of a worry about the device.

Micromax Canvas Xpress A99 with HOTKNOT

If Xiaomi is the Chinese apple, then Micromax is an Indian Samsung. Then, which Indian brand should be called as Indian Apple?

Micromax Canvas Xpress with HOTKNOT A99 Review

What is Hot Knot?

I am sure, you are aware about NFC. Similar to the NFC function, the Hot Knot is one of fast moving content sharing technology between devices. Since NFC is a costly feature, backed by top brand Nokia, Samsung and others, Hot Knot technology is cheaply available to be injected in low-budget smartphones. Share content through Hot KNOT is very easy.

  • Select a file to share between two Hot Knot enabled devices.
  • Tap on the “HOT KNOT” icon
  • Touch the displays of both devices
  • You will see file transfer has been initiated

First, we will look at the entertainment value of the Canvas Xpress A99. Its audio and video player has uniqueness in playing of the multimedia content in the original form. In general, we look for additional video player besides default Android player to play all file formats. However, this time, the Micromax has tweaked the stock Android player to support multiple video file formats. The device scores well for its multimedia entertainment value.

Battery backup remains a matter of concern with Micromax smartphones. Surprisingly, the A99 is powered by just 1950 mAh battery, but gives more than 2 days of backup on medium usages. In this article, we are concentrating at newly launch smartphones with good battery backup. Certainly the Xpress A99 has really good battery backup.

This time Micromax has done something right with Quad Core MediaTek processor. The Xpress A99 runs very smooth, does excellent with rich graphic games and had no lag, despite loaded active applications. It is an excellent device with good processing power.

Both camera does fair job while the object is available under good light. Out of 8GB ROM, the end user has fair share of 6 GB for personal storage. And, its 4.5 inches bright display has more to offer in terms of natural clarity and visibility under direct sunlight.

The current market reality has given a wake-up call to Micromax. Extra-ordinary sales of Moto E and after that four second sales window for Redmi 1S is sufficient to warn the Micromax that the new baby is in town. I am happy to see an Indian brand has taken up the challenge with quality offering. The Micromax has done good job by giving out the Canvas Xpress A99 with HOT KNOT feature.

 Lava Iris X1

As I can recall, the X1 had long endorsement campaign on Indian television channels. It emphasizes the fact that how the brand is evaluating its product. Certainly the Iris X1 has been one of good selling smartphone in recent time. Having decent battery backup and mouth-watering specification makes it an affordable choice at the current price of 7500/-. There are so many variants of the device. For review, we had 16GB ROM version and we recommend the same to our readers.

Lava Iris X1 Review and Specifications

The Iris X1 is packed with 2100 mAh Li-on battery. Though there is no official claim available to favour the battery backup ability, but in a real life experience, it doesn’t disappoint at all. For me, the device had lasted for 55 to 60 hours usages after a 100% of charging. I am quite surprise after the experience of fantastic battery backup in an Indian brand smartphone. The long lasting battery is in the favour of the smartphone.

Don’t scare with the Broadcom processor. You won’t experience any disruption in daily-to-day multimedia and multitasking activity. Certainly the Broadcom needs some more time to match the quality of MediaTek- the biggest seller of smartphone chips in the world. The X1’s processing ability is neither good nor bad.

In my opinion, Lava and XOLO are only two such smartphone brands, have good interest in the craft of smartphone camera. The Iris X1’s 8 MP primary camera comes with Dual LED flash, auto focus, digital ZOOM and HD recording. For better photography, Lava has paired it with BSI 2 image sensor, which enhances camera performance dramatically. In totality, visual shooting remains a big advantage with the Iris X1.

The Selfie 50 smartphone renders great power by having 2400 mAh battery power. Despite regular multimedia usages, the 100% battery lasted for 60 to 65 hours against medium usages. Therefore, we can register statement that the selfie device has excellent battery backup.

Let’s look at its camera specification and have more attention on its selfie feature. The Iris Selfie 50 features 8 MP rear and 5 MP front facing camera. Its rear camera has BSI II image sensor with dual LED flash. To render great selfie quality, user gets front facing camera with Single LED flash and auto focus feature.
