Top 4 Smartphones Under 7000 Rupees

Lenovo A6000

Microsoft Lumia 532 Dual SIM

The fight between two American tech giant Google and Microsoft for controlling low budget smartphone is interesting. To counter Google’s quality assurance under 7000 rupees by Android One smartphones, Microsoft initiated dual approach. First is launch of some economically priced Lumia smartphones and second is letting Windows OS to be licensed free for any device below the screen size of 10 inch.

The Lumia 532 is packed with a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera. By its powerful camera, you are just click away to capture sweat moments of life with quality output. Its primary camera is capable of recording just 480P video, but you can be assured for quality of output.

The smartphone sports a 4-inch screen with 800 × 480 Pixels resolution display, allowing 16 million colors production and improved 233 PPI pixel density per inch. It has a fast responsive touch panel with LCD transmissive technology running at the back, which indeed provides excellent viewing angle and clarity under direct sunlight.

Microsoft Lumia 532 Dual SIM

With strong processor built and connectivity, end user gets hassle free multitasking and lags free gaming. This is to consider here that average speed of data download on HSPA or GPRS network is faster than any available options under this budget bracket. The Lumia 532 gets huge multitasking power from a quad core processor of snapdragon 200 with clock speed of 1.2 GHz. Processor is supported by a 1 GB RAM and Adreno 320 graphic processing unit.

There are lots of add-on value within the phone. The Lumia 532 comes with preinstalled Facebook, Twitter, Bing Search, Whatsapp, Xbox Music, YouTube, Candy Crash and MSN messenger. Opera mini browser is default internet browser for webpage access.

The Lumia 532 Dual SIM runs on Windows Blue with Lumia Denim bring breath of fresh air away from the Android environment. In my opinion, Windows is better managed, clean, low end hardware friendly, modern and ultra fast compare to its nearest competitor.

Besides the regular connectivity options, it has a galaxy of 5 sensors, which makes it smarter than any available choice under 7000 rupees. The list of sensor includes – Orientation, Proximity, Accelerometer, Ambient, and G-sensor.

There are lots of colour and accessibility options in this phone. In terms of multimedia and camera enhancement, end users are benefited with features such as video recording, video streaming, scene mode, image view, F/2.7 aperture, 36 mm focal length, Lumia camera app and Lumia Selfie.

Xolo Q710s

The Q710 is one of the thinnest smartphone available under 7000 rupees budget in India. This device offers dual active 3G network with better download speed on 3G and 2G network. It is appreciated by users for its smooth touch, good battery, better processing, improved camera and noiseless calling.

The Xolo has packed Q710s in a plastic body with rubber finishing at the back. This translates into better grip control and worries free single hand operation.

This is one smartphone that bundles latest features and upgraded hardware. Its 4.5 inches display dons qHD resolution and 245 PPI pixel density. Having qHD display reduces battery consumption and 245 PPI pixel density makes watching MP4 content or playing HD games quite enjoyable.

Xolo Q710s

The Q710s runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 and will honour quick upgrade to Kitkat 4.4.4 and Lollipop 5.0.1 as well. There is not much say about processing power because it renders assured quality hardware for the same. For multitasking, It fire up with a quad core processor coupled with 1GB RAM making it a gaming friendly gadget. In addition, it runs on MediaTek quad core processor with clock speed of 1.3 GHz. As reported by end users, despite running of multiple applications and multiple multimedia tasks, there is no lag indeed.

Next, 8MP primary and 1.3 MP front facing camera on this Xolo smartphone are optimized for better photography. In fact, the primary shooter, which has a 5P lens with f/2.0 aperture, is capable of recording full HD videos. And, Android default camera apps ensures that you could produce best moments of life in quality output.

The Q710s has a 2000 mAh battery, which lasts for a day and half on normal usages. Having just limited battery power is kind of a disappointment for me.

In totality, the XOLO Q710s is a good smartphone, but it lacks objectivity in the current competitive market. Also, sales package doesn’t include a flip cover is a disappointment for me. Instead, a flip cover, you will get a screen guard. I do find anything special, which will make it considerable against Lumia 532 or Lenovo A6000.

Spice Stellar Mi 520n

The rise of Spice Smartphone brand is quite remarkable. Most of its recent launched smartphones have tagged as “Awesome” by the end users. Today, we have picked one more gem from the exclusive range of smartphone from Spice catalogue. The Stellar Mi 520n is one smartphone, bundled with some top noted specifications, features and hardware integrations.

To attract more buyers, the brand has put some extras for sales pack value addition. Mi 520n, two free back panel, screen guard, flip cover, travel adapter, ear phone, USB cable and printed papers are listed items in the sales box.
Spice Stellar Mi 520n

The Stellar Mi 520 offers a 5 inches screen with HD display wherein resolution measured to 720 × 1280 Pixels. Its screen is fairly glossy and back panel renders attractive shiny deep colour composition. Colour comes out natural and depth in the display is clearly visible. As the brightness level goes up, viewing angle becomes wider and display looks more vivid.

Dual regular SIM ports resides Just underneath of the back panel and offers standby dual 3G connectivity. However, I would not recommend modulation of the same as the active 3G connectivity usages lots of battery power. The 520n is powered by a 2000 mAh battery which lasts for just 18 to 20 hours. Consider smart battery saving with battery doctor app, which is preinstalled in this phone.

Out of 8 GB of installed memory, end users are benefited with split into 2 GB + 3 GB = 5 GB memory after the first boot. If 5GB is not sufficient for you, go for memory expansion, which is supported upto 32 GB. Apps location migration and installation directly to SD card is permitted.

The Stellar Mi 520n offers hassle free typing and email compose with swift keypad, which is the best keypad a smartphone can have today. To access webpage contents, opera mini and chrome browser comes preinstalled.

8 MP rear and 2 MP front facing camera pair is supported by default Android camera applications. In terms of camera output, result is quite satisfying. Output images have good details, natural colours and while zoomed 100%, slight noise or de-pixilation is noticed. Also, there is no complaining for stills and video shoot in the presence of artificial light. Overall camera review of the Stellar Mi 520n ends at positive note. It is not the best camera pair as we get with Lumia devices, but still it is a quality core in a smartphone, which falls under 7000 rupees budget.

In terms of multimedia entertainment value, I am really impressed with main speaker performance. Sound output is loud and does abstract even while it is placed on a flat surface.

In totality, this is an excellent choice available under 7000 rupees budget. We like the Stellar Mi 520n for stock Android experience, excellent sound output, and sales box accessories to keep it in check for stylish outlook. Camera and performance is good. Its battery is weak and the brand service centre experience is average.

Lenovo A6000

Finally the Lenovo is able to pull out something, which is going to be quite revolutionary. In terms of craft and offering, the A6000 gets big thumbs considering Indian 4G support. The nationwide rollout of 4G network is expected in couple of months. Reliance Jio is front runner in on-going bidding for telecom licenses. Delaying in the 4G service launch was due to change in central government Telecom policy followed by delay in e-action of the base telecom spectrum.

Coming back to the A6000, it is an awesome device with strict price tag of 6999/- exclusively available for Indian consumer through Flipkart gateway. The A6000 runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 with custom VIBE 2.0 UI over it. Lenovo has promised to roll out Android Lollipop rollout within couple of months after the official launch. The custom UI isn’t so innovative, but renders brightness and vivid frame work like Samsung’s TouchWiz. The UI runs without creating any lag in regular processing.

Lenovo A6000

The A6000 is powered by a single cell battery with capacity of 2300 mAh. Its battery offers excellent backup and goes upto one and half days on medium usages. We haven’t experience battery backup on active 4G connectivity. With dual SIM support, it is optimized for Indian 4G-LTE network. One SIM port is for 3G and 4G networks and another port supports just 2G network connectivity.

Lenovo’s this 4G smartphone sports a 5 inches IPS HD display with 720P resolution and excellent 294 PPI pixel density. Lighted screen is one of pros of this device. You won’t find any different experience with display quality if you have used any Samsung grand smartphone previously. I guess Lenovo has learnt many of Samsung trick.

Touch panel response is excellent and you won’t experience any lag whatsoever. A good display offers better clarity while you are reading webpage contents. Because of excellent cellular connectivity, online contents loading is very fast and tinny web texts are easily readable due to excellent display depth. Though, it has pinch-to-zoom features in case you need bigger text and closure look.

The A6000 dons a quad core 4G oriented Snapdragon 410 processor with clock speed of 1.2 GHz. There is 1GB RAM and 8GB of installed flash memory. Additionally, Memory expansion is supported upto 32 GB. On the first boost, we noticed 422 MB RAM was free and out of 8GB of ROM, just 4.5 GB is available for end users. Also, Apps migration and director storing to Memory card is possible by just setting up default memory location to SD card.

As far as gaming is a concern, we had tested Modern combat and Asphalt racing game. On medium setting though this device shows noticeable lag. Overall gaming experience is fairly good, but not great. I didn’t expect this from a smartphone with the latest Snapdragon processor. For processing ability, AnTuTU benchmark score for A6000 is 19800, which is really good for a smartphone, which offers Indian 4G connectivity and falls under 7000 rupees budget.

The A6000 lists a 8 MP rear facing camera and 2 MP front facing camera. Both camera have been optimize to shoot HD or 720P video at maximum 30 frames per second. Considering its price, camera performance is really good. Outdoor and indoor shots are good for storing in your database.
