Bingo Beige S530 Mini Style Wireless Bluetooth Headphone
In the movie Bodyguard, Salman wears a Bluetooth earphone in his right ear and takes away the heart of every viewer with his style. People were so impressed with Salman’s style that everyone started to purchase wireless headphones.
Well, to be honest, single ear wireless headphones were quite famous even before the release of Bodyguard. These types of headphones are not only easy to handle but also offer a great flexibility.
Few months ago, the Bingo Beige S530 Mini Style Wireless Bluetooth Headphone was launched in the market and in such a short span of time; this device has become quite famous. This single-ear headphone will satisfy your needs if you are too a fan of Salman’s style in the Bodyguard movie. As of now, you can purchase it for just 699 rupees.
Average Build Quality
I cannot vow for the durability of this headphone. The manufacturer has made the device with average quality plastic materials and it does not feel solid. However, there is no point in criticizing this headphone on the front of build quality, as it is a budget segment device.
We were highly impressed by the design of this device. It is soft and comfortable. The compact outer shell allows the users to fit the whole headphone inside their earflap.
Good For Outdoors and Working Out
This headphone will not fall off your ear as it offers a very tight grip. You can wear it while walking outdoors or while working out.
As it is a wireless device cramped in a much small outer shell, we did not expect it to offer inbuilt controls. Nevertheless, on this front also, the manufacturer has impressed us. A big button on the back of its driver allows the user to control music and receive calls. The onboard microphone records decent quality audio.
Decent Sound Production
This Bingo headphone gives an output of 35 mW. The audio is loud enough, so you will be able to make calls even in noisy environments. The quality of the sound is also good.
I would not recommend using it for listening to music. This is a single driver based headphone ideal for calling.
On a single charge, it gives about four hours of talk time, which is quite impressive. Moreover, it works on Bluetooth 4.0 technology that has a range of 10 meters.
- Attractive looks
- Multiple color variants
- Good battery backup
- Comes with USB charger
- Bluetooth 4.0 support
- Build quality is not so impressive
- Not good for music listening
This headphone is good for people whose hand remains busy most of the time; thus, cannot accept incoming calls on mobile phone. However, as it is not a great device for listening to music, I would not recommend using it while workout session is on.

Panasonic RP-HX350 Red Over-Ear
There are mainly two types of headphones i.e., on-ear and over-ear. On-ear headphones are lightweight and stylish but are not comfortable. This is the reason why many professionals who use headphones for long periods prefer the second category.
There is very little competition in the budget segment when it comes to over-ear headphones. Brands generally focus on the on-ear style headphones because of the bigger market.
Do not get me wrong here. I am not saying there are no good quality on-ear budget headphones in the market. The point I am trying to make here is you will have to do a lot of research in order to find a decent over-ear headphone if your budget is low. However, do not worry because the main purpose of this website is to help customers buy good products even if they are limited on budget.
The task of finding a good on-ear headphone was a hard one. After spending more than three days on research, I finally came across the Panasonic RP-HX350 Red Over-Ear Headphone. You can purchase this device for as low as 650 rupees. You may not have heard about this headphone earlier. The product has received less appreciation than it actually deserves.
Offers Great Comfort
I must say, it is the most comfortable headphone of the budget segment. Its ear cups are heavily padded and do not make users feel fatigue during long music listening session. The padding of earpieces surrounds the earflaps instead of sitting on them. The earpieces themselves offer 90-degree swivel in both direction and adjust to the shape of user’s ears automatically.
The headband is highly flexible. Panasonic has not applied any padding on the headband; it has done this to reduce the overall weight of the setup.
Attractive Looks but Average Build Quality
Panasonic offers this headphone in five color variants, all of which look amazing. The metallic finish of the earpiece rim gives the whole setup a premium look.
The headphone feels really cheap in the hand as Panasonic has used average quality materials in the manufacturing process. It will certainly not last for a long time. If you are going to purchase it, then be sure to take a good care because even a small fall can cause serious damage to its body.
Features a Flat Cord
Tangling of cord is one of the most annoying problems that headphone users face. Panasonic has tried to cure this headache by equipping the HX350 headphone with a 1.2-meter flat cord. Its 3.5mm plug is angled at 90 degrees, which can annoy some people.
Unparalleled Audio Quality
As far as I know, the RP-HX350 is the only budget headphone to feature a pair of really large 36mm drivers. Audio remains loud and clear at all the frequencies. Frequency response range of 9 Hz – 25 KHz make it a desirable product for music lovers.
Lows and highs are fine, but I did find lower-Mids to be lacking the quality. The headphone greatly suppresses male voices. It does not feature open-back earpieces, which means the listeners will not experience any soundstage at all. Because of the low impedance of 32 Ohms, the volume remains high even if you are playing music from a portable device.
- Compact build
- Circumaural design for greater comfort of users
- Supports both iOS and Android devices
- Generates powerful audio
- Comes with an untangled cord
- Build quality is not that great
- Lower-Mids are not produced nicely
Considering the price point, the Panasonic RP-HX350 is a bang for the buck. It performs like a premium level product. The only problem that will annoy most customers is of the bad built quality.

Sony MDR-ZX110 On-Ear Headphones
The Sony MDR-ZX110 is one of the cheapest quality headphones that are available in the market currently. You can take this device home for just 550 rupees. Surprisingly, even at such a low price tag, this headphone offers great audio quality and superior build quality. You will certainly not regret this purchase.
Compact and Attractive
This headphone does not feel like a budget product at all. Sony has clearly spent a lot of time in designing its body. The device is compact and feels light on user’s head. Its earpieces are attached to the headband via a hinge, which allows for some level of flexibility. Unfortunately, you do not get any carrying case in the box.
Heavily padded ear cups are comfortable but only if you are listening to music for a short period. On-ear style headphones (like this one) are not famous for comfort as they push the earflaps against user’s head.
Its 1.2-meter cord is enough long that user will not feel any difficulty even if he or she is carrying the smartphone in his/her trouser pocket. This cord comes in a flat shape, which eliminates tangling.
Impressive Audio Quality
Thanks to the 30 mm audio drivers that generate crisp and clear audio. Although the headphone has a low impedance of 24 Ohms, it fails to produce loud audio. Still, I love this device. Its frequency response range of 12-22000 Hz is the widest in this price segment. The device generates immersive bass and treble frequencies.
Do not expect any soundstage as the ear cups of this headphone feature a closed back design.
The biggest disappointment associated with this headphone is the lack of an inbuilt microphone. You will not be able to receive or make calls on it. In addition, Sony has not even equipped this device with inline audio controls.
- Generates crisp and clear audio
- Impressive frequency response range
- Foldable ear cups are good for traveling
- Comes with a flat cord
- It is compatible with a wide range of devices
- Low volume audio
For 550 rupees, I cannot imagine more features than this headphone currently offers. Sometime I even wonder how did Sony managed to pack so many things in such a budget friendly product. However, for some people lack of an inbuilt microphone will prove to be a major concern.

Philips SHE1455 with Mic
There was a time when all smartphone manufacturers used to ship a basic headphone with handsets. Nowadays, in order keep the price competitive, brands choose not to include earphones in the packaging box.
Not all brands follow this strategy, though. If you are planning to purchase a new phone, the chance of getting a headphone with it will be 50 percent only. Moreover, no customer in the world would change buying decision just because the smartphone is not coming with a free earphone. This is the reason that many people these days buy a new headphone just after making a mobile phone purchase.
The Philips SHE1455BK Headphone is a great product for people who want a good quality device at less price. This device is available in the market for around 400 rupees. I would like to add here though this headphone is much more suitable for casual listening. Thus, Music lovers should look for some other alternative (which will cost more money).
Decent build Quality
Philips has used good quality materials in the making of this headphone. The cord is strong and will last for years to come. Its earcaps are quite comfortable. In addition to medium size ear caps, you also get two extra pairs for different ear sizes. Both earpieces come with “left” and “right” signs marked on them. Its 3.5-mm jack is angled at 90 degrees and will not break easily.
Average Audio Quality
This Philips headphone is a budget segment product and it performs just like one. There is nothing interesting about it. The Audio that it generates is decent. Do not expect deep bass levels and surround sound effect. Interestingly, its earpieces do a great job of isolating the users, which helps in creating a more personalized environment.
You also get an inline microphone with this headphone. It records good quality audio and is great for making calls on the go.
- Attractive design
- Average build quality
- Good isolation
- 5mm connector
- Microphone records good audio
- Audio quality is good but not great
Although this Philips headphone generates average quality audio, it is still a decent product. It is made for general usage and performs really well in that context.
|Dimensions||7.5 x 1.8 x 2.5 cm|
|Frequency Response Range||10-22000 Hz|
